Never say never!

After completing a very strenuous course of engineering which lasted for almost 4 years, I decided I would never get back to education- definitely not the learning side! But here I am, driven by my love for learning and teaching, I found myself enrolling for the entrance test for the teacher training course called B.Ed.

The last decade has been one filled with so many adventures and learning experiences. I graduated, I got married, moved two countries, had two children, learnt to cook, learnt driving, learnt banking... the list is endless. Amidst all this, my love for education never faded away. I always wanted to study more but being a product of an Indian patriarchal household, my options were limited. Surely but steadily, I gathered the courage to tell my husband that I wanted to go back to college. It took some convincing but he was on board finally 😃

I made breakfast , dropped the kids to school and got ready to appear for my entrance examination which would determine my chances of pursuing my dream of further education.  The results were out soon and it got me a very good set if marks which then put me in one of the good colleges of the city.

It has been a very interesting and fun journey since. There are days were it seems nearly impossible to balance home and college, but your determination and grit helps you get through for you must not be afraid of moving slowly but be afraid of standing still. The important thing is to keep going. Little by little makes a lot.
